HO teamed up with Checkerspot, a biotechnology company, to make a revolutionary replacement from a renewable source - microalgae oil. Historically, high performance equipment has relied on petroleum outputs to meet industry standards. Utilizing Checkerspot’s WINGTM Platform, we custom formulated a rigid foam specifically for our skis. Their biology and material science capabilities enabled them to design a lightweight biobased foam, tailored to reduce overall weight and deliver higher compressive strength at lower densities.

The Stance 130 Boot was designed for skiers looking for power and precision. The stiff composite textile shell adds performance to the incredible comfort provided in the Stance boot line. It’s Full-Wrap upper cuff provides enhanced lateral support and responsiveness, while the SBR Closed Cell Foam Liner delivers a snug yet comfy fit. Dual Lace Zones allow independent tightening of upper and lower cuffs. The lightweight Stance 130(only 1000 grams in the size 7-11 model) includes 15 degrees of forward lean, 175mm tall cuff height. The 6mm thick, Baseless, zero drop orthotic footbed to enhances skier balance. The Dual Lace Zones allow for a personalized fit with independent upper and lower cuff tightening. Made with quality, high strength 6061 Grade Aluminum Plates, no cheap plastic on this crucial ski to boot connection! With universal holes to fit virtually all ski brand insert patterns.

A lighter weight and more comfortable alternative to a rubber rear toe loop, the Stance ART is customizable to your foot size. Just tighten the static lace overfoot and you’re good to go. No more jamming your foot into a rear boot that doesn’t fit right. The 6mm thick, Baseless, zero drop orthotic footbed enhances skier to ski balance. Made with quality, high strength 6061 Grade Aluminum Plates, no cheap plastic on this crucial ski to boot connection! Matches perfectly with the Stance 130 and Stance 110 front boots.
