A snowboard stomp pad is a small piece of material typically made from rubber, foam or aluminium that is attached to the top of a snowboard between the bindings. It is designed to provide additional traction and grip for the rider's back foot, especially when getting on or off the chairlift or when skating across flat terrain.

INSTALLATION:

  • Clean the area where you want to install the stomp pad with rubbing alcohol or another mild cleaner. This will remove any dirt or debris that could interfere with the adhesive.
  • Peel the backing off the adhesive side of the stomp pad. Be careful not to touch the adhesive with your fingers, as this can reduce its effectiveness.
  • Place the stomp pad on the snowboard in the desired location. The most common location is between the bindings, where the boot will be placed while skating.
  • Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the adhesive. This will activate the adhesive and help it bond to the snowboard more effectively.
  • Apply firm pressure to the stomp pad for several minutes to ensure that it is securely attached to the snowboard.
  • Wait at least 24 hours before using the stomp pad. This will give the adhesive enough time to fully bond.
