Snowboarding originated in the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. The first snowboard was created by Sherman Poppen in 1965, who fastened two skis together and added a rope to create a rudimentary snowboard. In 1977, Jake Burton Carpenter founded Burton Snowboards, which helped to popularize the sport and develop modern snowboarding equipment. By the 1980s, snowboarding had become a popular alternative to skiing, and was officially recognized as an Olympic sport in 1998. Snowboarding initially faced resistance from ski resorts, which viewed snowboarders as reckless and potentially dangerous to other skiers. However, as the sport grew in popularity, most resorts began to welcome snowboarders and create designated terrain parks and halfpipes for them to ride. An accessible all-mountain board with bio-sourced materials. The Sight is an all-mountain snowboard with a freeride inspired shape. A tapered directional shape enhances turning sensation and float, with Cross Profile camber for stability on groomers. Using cork rails the Sight makes hard pack feel like butter.

• Control: A Quadratic sidecut with a blend of elliptic curves provides easy turn initiation, superior control on hard pack, and quick edge-to-edge transmission.
• Construction: Cork Rails help reduce the use of petroleum-based products while providing a superior solution for dampening underfoot, ensuring a smooth ride all season long.
• Cross Profile: Camber between the feet for better control, pop and landing stability. Rocker on tip & tail for effortless floatation forward and switch.
• Tapered directional: Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
• Popster: The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
